Language Link offers its students a variety of accommodation during their stays in Tallinn. In addition to Airbnb, apartments, and hotels, many of our British university students are seeking to live AND pay for the privilege of living in a family homestay accommodation during their time in Tallinn.

If you have a spare room that you are willing to rent out for 13, 16, 18 or 36 weeks, then there can be no better boarder than a young British university student. In addition to receiving 400 – 500 euros per month (see prices below) for offering bed and breakfast, you have the opportunity to participate in a truly rewarding, cultural exchange programme.

To qualify for Language Link’s Homestay programme, you should:

  • speak Russian as a native or second language,
  • have a spare room with basic amenities: bed, closet, drawers, desk/ table, etc.,
  • be willing to provide breakfast for your house guest,
  • be willing to provide dinner or allow your house guest to use your cooking facilities,
  • allow your house guest to feel as if he or she is a part of your family.

About our British students

Most of the students who are looking for homestay accommodations are non-smokers, some are vegetarian, and some may have animal allergies. Every attempt is made to match the right student to the right family.

About the rental income

  • Students pay 400 euros per month for non-central bed and breakfast accommodation.
  • Students pay 500 euros per month for central bed and breakfast accommodation.
