Our teachers
Language Link's russian as a foreign language teaching staff are all highly trained russian language specialists with considerable experience and post-graduate degrees.
In addition to being native Russian speaking, all teachers:
- must be able to speak at least one or two other major European languages and,
- have traveled and/ or taught extensively abroad.
So as to ensure our students receive the widest possible cultural experience, Language Link has selected teachers born throughout the Russian-speaking world to include Russia, Estonia, and Belarus.

Our standard courses taught include the following subject matter:
- Grammar
- Speaking practice
- Translation from English to Russian and vice versa
- Phonetics, Reading, and Listening
- Cultural studies
Our students all attend British universities and are fulfilling their year abroad language
requirement. Our students
normally study four academic hours a day.
As student levels can vary, all students undergo placement testing so as to ensure they are
placed in a group of
students with similar levels of language proficiency.
